Sr Director of Data Science, Charlene Tay, recognized as Top Woman of Tech 2024

The Engineered Innovation Group is thrilled to announce that our Senior Director in Data Science, Charlene Tay, was recognized as a Top Woman in Tech 2024. This recognition is a testament to Charlene’s significant contribution to the technological landscape.

With a background in applied machine learning and AI, Charlene has worked across the High Alpha portfolio, supporting startup founders in developing their ML/AI initiatives and building data products. Before joining EIG, Charlene led data science at Pattern89, a marketing AI company later acquired by Shutterstock, where she expanded her expertise in predictive and generative AI solutions.

Charlene is fascinated by the future of AI, particularly AI-powered automation and orchestration, something she witnessed first-hand while working at EIG. As emerging technologies further develop, she hopes to see applications of these technologies in highly regulated industries on a broader scope, just like EIG’s many projects that integrate AI/ML to improve patient experience.
